Reliable nodes, consistent performance

I've been using QuickNode for about a year now for my dApp projects, mostly for Ethereum and Polygon nodes. This last month, I upgraded my Polygon Node to a dedicated instance, and the performance has been exactly what I've come to expect. Speeds were good, and I haven't had any downtime issues, which is crucial for my work. It's why I keep coming back; they're consistently reliable compared to some other providers I tried early on. The setup was smooth, just like previous upgrades. I appreciate that consistency.

Amazing NFT API speed!

I just started using the NFT API for a new project, and it's fantastic! I had heard good things, but the speed for querying metadata was even better than I thought. My previous setup was so slow, but with QuickNode, everything loads instantly. It made development much faster and way less frustrating. I'm definitely going to stick with this and check out their GraphQL API next. Seriously impressed with how well it performed right out of the gate!

Does QuickNode offer any kind of discounts for startups? Like, is there a way to get some free credits to kick things off?

S Sam 1 month ago
I got some credits through a startup accelerator partnership, you apply them in the billing dashboard. It's not a public code necessarily, but they definitely do it. Worth checking if your accelerator is partnered.

Yeah, they have a free tier you can always start with. For extra credits, sometimes they do events or have referral bonuses, but those are usually more specific.

Considering getting a dedicated cluster, but I'm worried about the setup time. How long does it usually take to get one of those spun up and ready to go?

N Nick Doyle 2 months ago
It's pretty quick actually, for a dedicated cluster. Not instant like a shared node, but they get it going pretty fast. I was impressed.

I don't have a dedicated cluster myself, but from what I've heard, it's not a super long wait. They focus on performance so I imagine they'd want to get you up and running quickly.

Hey, thinking about switching from Alchemy. How does QuickNode compare on pricing, especially for like a medium-sized project that might get some traffic spikes?

O Omar F. 2 months ago
I moved my dApp to QuickNode a few months back. Their pricing model felt a bit more predictable for me, especially with the build plans. Alchemy always seemed to hit me with overage charges I didn't see coming.

Yeah, I think QuickNode has a decent free tier to start, and if you go annual billing, you can usually snag a discount. For spikes, I heard they handle it pretty well but haven't personally pushed it that hard yet.

I'm thinking of building something on Solana. How reliable are QuickNode's Solana nodes? Any downtime issues or anything like that?

T Tara Nguyen 2 months ago
I've been running my dApp on their Solana nodes for months and haven't had any significant downtime. They're pretty solid.

QuickNode's Solana nodes are usually super reliable. I mean, things happen, but generally, their infrastructure is top-notch for production stuff.

What's the deal with payment methods? Can I pay with crypto or is it just standard credit card stuff?

S Steve Kim 1 month ago
Pretty sure it's just regular credit card payments for now. Haven't seen an option for crypto.

I've only ever paid with my credit card. I think it's the usual suspects like Visa, Mastercard, etc.
